Woman Cited For Felony Assault, Man Arrested For Stolen Bicycle

FREMONT – A Fremont woman is facing a felony assault charge after an incident early Saturday evening at a Fremont hospital.

Fremont Police were called to Fremont Health at 6:02 p.m. Saturday after a health care professional was alleged to have been assaulted. Investigation determined that an assault had taken place without injuries suffered. As a result, 37-year old Tabitha A. Severin of Fremont was arrested on a felony charge of assault on a health care professional.

Meanwhile, Fremont Police were called to the 100 block of S. Somers Avenue at approximately 6:32 p.m. Sunday in reference to a dispute between neighbors. A party at that location stated that their bike had been stolen. Consent was given to search a residence there for the bicycle, but a man there proved to be uncooperative to officers once they arrived.

54-year old Jess E. Key of Fremont was arrested for theft by unlawful taking, disorderly conduct, and obstructing a police officer.

Fremont Police also took a burglary complaint on Friday in regards to a stolen wallet from a Fremont residence.

The complaint was made from the 400 block of W. 6th Street with the theft happening sometime on June 9. The report says that a wallet and money were taken from a residence at that location. The estimated loss is valued at  approximately $200.
