Kearney’s Koster Scores 28 to Lead Bearcats to GNAC Title

NORTH PLATTE – Norfolk senior Kanon Koster admitted he wanted to see Norfolk in the GNAC Title game.

Koster’s last meeting with the Panthers was his worst game of the season. Limited by foul trouble, the all-stater was held to a season-low 12 points as Kearney lost 43-40.

Koster, and by extension the Bearcats as a team, was much more effective on Saturday, scoring a game-high 28 in Kearney’s 54-44 win.

For the year, Koster is averaging 23.6 points per game, tops in Class A.
