Lutheran High Northeast Gets Revenge on Randolph, Takes Third

LINCOLN – After losing to Randolph in the subdistrict finals, the Eagles were able to avenge the loss on Saturday.

LNE beat the Cardinals 52-42 in the third place game at Lincoln East High School.

The Eagles got off to a 17-4 lead to start the game and could essentially cruise from there.

Randolph got it within 10 several times in the 2nd half, but LNE made free throws down the stretch to ice the game.

Caleb Gerhardt led the way for LNE with 17 points. Logan Nordhues had 19 for RHS.
