Ponca Claims Program’s 2nd State Title
Ponca has won it's second state title in program history.

LINCOLN – The Ponca boys are state champions.

The Indians won the program’s second title in program history after defeating Neligh-Oakdale 52-45 in the Class C2 Championship at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday evening.

Ponca took a two-point lead into halftime and were able to keep the Warriors at bay in the second half to hold on for the seven-point victory.

Logan and Carter Kingsbury led Ponca with 16 and 13 points respectively.

Grant White and Tyson Belitz each scored 14 for the Warriors in the losing effort.
