Randolph Turns Up Defensive Intensity to Beat Allen Monday

RANDOLPH – Already leading comfortably at the half, Randolph found another gear in the 2nd half Monday to beat Allen 57-29.

The Cardinals held a 33-20 halftime advantage, but forced 11 second half turnovers (23 for the game) and limited the Eagles to just three second-half field goals.

Junior guard Merrix Denn led all scorers with 16 points, while Mason Nordhues added 15 points and four rebounds.

Randolph outrebounded Allen 16-8 in the first half and 29-18 for the game.
