Three-Point Explosion Lifts Riverside to Win Over St. Francis

HUMPHREY – There’s hot-shooting, and then there’s what Riverside’s Tredyn Prososki did Thursday night.

Prososki hit seven 3-pointers in the first half, and finished with nine overall. His 37 points led all scorers in a 67-50 win over rival St. Francis.

It wasn’t just the outside shooting, though. The Chargers’ Joseph Bloom finished with 15 points, 17 rebounds and five blocked shots, never really letting St. Francis get comfortable inside.

St. Francis was able to get some offense in the thrid quarter, particularly from Trevor Pfeifer and Taylor Wemhoff, trimming what had been a 15-point lead to eight. But two late-quarter threes from Prososki (who else?) pushed Riverside’s margin to a point that St. Francis couldn’t come back from.

The win is just Riverside’s second ever against Humphrey St. Francis.
