CROOKSTON, MN – The Wayne State College Wildcat football team is set to compete in their second and final road Thursday night contest of the season on September 14.
From Ed Widseth Field in Crookston, Minnesota the 1-1 Wildcats visit the 0-2 Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles for their third cross-divisional game.
WSC is coming off a 48-10 home win over University of Mary this past Saturday while the Golden Eagles suffered a 56-19 loss to then #12 Minnesota State-Mankato.
Both teams had a short week of practice while the remainder of the conference will play their games Saturday.

WSC is also in search for their first road win since October 15 (41-39 at Southwest Minnesota State).
Wayne State College is 11-2 in the all-time series history against Minnesota Crookston dating back to 1999. The ‘Cats have won the past seven meetings including most recently in 2015 in Wayne, 58-16. The last Golden Eagle win came in 2004 in Wayne, 24-0.
