WAYNE – Coming off a short week the Wayne State College Wildcat football team will play host to a Top 25 NCAA Division II team in the #18th-ranked University of Sioux Falls Cougars.
From Bob Cunningham Field on the campus of Wayne State College, it’ll mark the third time this season WSC will play on a Thursday night.
WSC is 1-1 in Thursday night games, dropping their season opener at Northern State (23-16) while winning at Minnesota Crookston (33-14).
Wayne State College is now 4-2 (2-0 South) on the season while the Cougars enter the night at 5-1 (1-1 South).
WSC is coming off a 20-6 homecoming win over Southwest Minnesota State while the Cougars suffered a 31-13 home loss to then #22 Winona State last Saturday.
