OSMOND – The Winside Wildcat volleyball team continued their road trek to start the season Tuesday.
For the second time this season, Winside took part in a road triangular. Hosted by Osmond, Winside swept Homer in the opening match (25-22, 25-19) and Osmond in the final match (25-23, 25-23). The Wildcats have now won three straight games to sit 4-4 on the season.
From the win over Homer, Alyssa Brogren paced the Wildcats at the net with seven kills followed by five from Fauneil Olander. Brooklyn Behmer tallied eight set assists and a team-high 11 kills. Andi Bargstadt added 10 kills and three solo blocks.
In the win over Osmond, Olander and Bargstadt each recorded five kills. Behmer added 10 set assist and seven digs while Bargstadt aslo tacked on seven digs.
Winside will next be no the road at Bloomfield on Thursday, September 14.
