Norfolk Man Arrested Following Friday Night Assault
NORFOLK - Friday night, just before, 10:30pm officers with the Norfolk Police were called to the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
Captain Michael Bauer told us that a man had called the police saying that a man with the knife was trying to kill him. Officers located the victim and he showed officers a knife cut to his abdomen. The suspect had reportedly went inside the Kensington. As the officers were interviewing the victim, the suspect exited the Kensington and the victim identified him
Subsequently, 21-year-old Clemente Reyna-Casimiro of Norfolk was questioned about the incident. The locked foyer where the suspect exited the Kensington was searched and a knife with about a six inch blade was located. He was then arrested for 2nd degree assault and is being held at the Madison County jail.
