Emergency Services No Longer Available Through Tilden Community Hospital
TILDEN - The Tilden Community Hospital, effective July 1st, will no longer be accepting emergency patients in Tilden.
The Tilden City Council in April voted to allow the Tilden Community Hospital permission to cease in-patient and emergency services at their facility effective July 1st. Hospital Director Lon Knievel did say that although the emergency services will not be available in Tilden, EMS crews will still serve the community.
Knievel: "We just want to make sure that people understand that if people have an emergency situation, they need to either call 911 or seek help at another hospital in the area."
Kenievel said that patients will have the option to choose between being taken via ambulance to the hospital in Norfolk or Neligh. The TCH Medical clinic, as well as, lab, x-ray, and physical therapy services will still be available in Tilden.
