Nebraska Filmmakers Documenting Rebuild in Pilger
PILGER- Two Nebraska filmmakers are working on a documentary about the rebuilding efforts in Pilger after last months tornadoes.
Sean Nohrenberg of Omaha and James Kriah of Lincoln have extensive backgrounds in the film industry, including working on television commercials, reality shows, and a couple feature length films.
Nohrenberg first got the idea for the documentary, Twisted Silence, after seeing the tornado damage in Wayne last October.
Nohrenberg says before he did any filming for Twisted Silence, he came to Pilger to be a part of the clean up effort.
Nohrenberg: "My fiance and I actually to town as a volunteer and we went down the volunteer route, to be a volunteer for a day, before I became a media person."
Nohrenberg says he was blown away by the amount of support Pilger has gotten from volunteers, and says you can see a considerable difference in town a month since the storm.
He doesn't have a release date for the documentary at this time but people can follow their progress and see a teaser trailer on the Twisted Silence Facebook page.
