Norfolk Community Health Care Clinic Moving to New Location
NORFOLK- When the Norfolk Community Health Care Clinic moves into its new space later this year, the hospital will not only double in size but will be more organized as well.
The clinic has outgrown its current location inside the Skyview Medical Building, and is fixing their space problem by renovating the former Norfolk Printing Company building.
Moving with the clinic will be the Public Health Department and other partner agencies which Kathy Norby, the Executive Director of Norfolk Community Health Care Clinic, says will give a new vision to health care.
Norby: "We have the preventative approach, chronic disease management. As an FQHC we offer medical, behavior health, and oral health care all at the same facility. Creates unique challenges in building but it is a great service for anyone who wants to access care."
The new clinic has been under construction since November and Norby expects the facility to be completed in April in hopes for a May move.
