Celebrate Creighton’s Berry Pepper Days This Weekend

CREIGHTON – Make plans to visit Creighton for three-days of events during their annual Berry Pepper Days.

Events will be held Friday, June 16 until Sunday, June 18.

Friday evening activities include a road rally from 5:30-7 p.m. and the Corie-Casey Band performing from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m.

During the day visit the Historical Center while participating in the City-Wide garage sales for both Friday and Saturday.

Moving into Saturday, the VFW will host their Auxiliary breakfast from 7 until 10 a.m. while “Jazzercise” in the park will start at 8 a.m.

The Texas Softball Tournament in memory of Doug Hornbak will take place starting at 8 a.m. and the kiddie parade will begin at 10 a.m. There will also be six bounce houses for the children and a Junior/Senior Legion Baseball Tournament being held at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday night will cap-off with the Creighton High School Alumni Banquet, St. Ludger Alumni Banquet and a street dance with music provided by a DJ.

Wrapping up the weekend on Sunday, there will be an antique tractor display and duck races during the afternoon.

Kiddie Water Fights, BBQ in the Park and a pool party will conclude the weekend full of activities.
