Child Abuse Suspect Arrested; Parents Speak Out

OMAHA — UPDATE: The Omaha World-Herald reports that 58 year-old Lynn Rowe was taken into custody last night in Omaha. The child abuse victim’s parents speak out in this video.

PRIOR STORY:

OMAHA — Omaha Police are looking for a daycare worker after receiving a complaint of child abuse that allegedly occurred at Lynn’s Learning Center, 3109 S. 112th Street in Omaha. The parents of the 4-year old female child reported that daycare owner, Lynn Rowe (9-19-58), physically abused their child in her care.

On Wednesday, Omaha Police Detectives obtained a felony arrest warrant for Rowe for Child Abuse. The Omaha Metro Fugitive Task force has been unable to locate Rowe. Anyone with information about Rowe’s location is encouraged to call the Omaha Police Special Victim’s Unit at 402-444-5636 or Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.

Omaha Police detectives are continuing to investigate if any other children were subject to abuse or neglect at Lynn’s Learning Center. Anyone that believes their child may have been a victim of abuse or neglect at Lynn’s Learning Center is encouraged to call the Omaha Police Special Victim’s Unit at 402-444-5636.
